Mark Langton began his music career as a cellist at age 12 (actually it was the recorder at age 11, but he tends to block out those memories due the constant beatings he suffered). At age 17 he became a singer because he realized that "you can't get chicks when you play the cello." He has fronted many bands since that revelation, most notably for John Trubee and the Ugly Janitors of America ("Google it, I dare you" says Langton).

The son of jazz string bass player Ray Leatherwood (Julie London, Les Brown

playing a surprise Birthday party for Sammy Davis Jr.. Rick has played with a

couple of fairly successful original bands in the 80's (FX and Automatic Pilot),

and also plays with "Head First", a veteran coverband from the LA area. His

main influences include Jimmy Page, Leslie West, Clapton and others too numerous to list, in this bio. Rick plays Gibson, Fender, Ibanez guitars, and uses Marshall amplification exclusively.
